I didn't make as many gifts this year as I would have liked but here are some of the things I did make. (I also made one other thing but two people haven't gotten their gifts yet and they may see this so don't want to ruin the surprise)
This year after looking for recycled, made in the US, and soy ink cards and seeing how much they were going to cost us and not really loving any of them I decided to make my own from things I already had. I now have pretty much no green or red paper and no red ribbon lol. (If you can't read them they say "I'm dreaming of a green Christmas.")
This is the first animal (or anything close to this hard) I have crocheted. It's a polar bear with a Steelers colors scarf for my husband. It isn't perfect but I think he is pretty cute and my husband couldn't believe I made it.
I also made lots of cookies for us, my parents, and brother. These are hidden mint cookies. It's a fudge mint cookie (just like the Girl Scout cookies but natural) in the middle of a homemade sugar cookie. They are so good! I also made plain sugar cookies for my parents and brother and made gingerbread cookies for my husband and myself (you can see those on my Christmas post).
Did you make any gifts this year? If so what?

Wow, those cookies look amazing. I love the cards and the little bear too! I think making Xmas cards is so much fun, and like you say it's a great way to use things you already have.
Kirsten: Thanks, they were yummy. I did have fun making the cards. :)
I made jam, applesauce and wool dryer balls--and all were received with enthusiasm! I bought a lot of homemade, however.
We loved our card and the cookies. :)
That polar bear is so cute. We needle felted some things for the fist time too. So fun!
I made at least one small gift for everyone on my Christmas list - including the dogs.
